𝐍𝐓𝐍𝐔–𝐘𝐍𝐔 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

The NTNU–YNU Joint Research Seminar was successfully held on June 12, 2026, at Yokohama National University (YNU), bringing together professors, researchers, and students from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the Coastal, Ocean, and Concrete Laboratory research groups at YNU.
The seminar provided an excellent platform for sharing cutting-edge research, exchanging ideas, and strengthening international collaboration in offshore engineering, coastal and ocean engineering, marine renewable energy, and resilient infrastructure systems. The event fostered meaningful discussions and created valuable opportunities for future research collaboration, academic exchange, and innovation between NTNU and YNU.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐄𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓), organized by the 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, was held at Institut Teknologi Bandung (𝐈𝐓𝐁), 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚, from 4–5 November 2025.
At this event, our lab member 𝐎𝐤𝐮𝐫𝐚-𝐬𝐚𝐧 delivered a presentation showcasing the outcomes of his research titled “𝑬𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒊𝒙 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒇 𝑭𝒍𝒚 𝑨𝒔𝒉-𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑳𝑼𝑺𝑰 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍.”
